Board Goals

2026-2027 Board Goals adopted at the June 2026 BOE Meeting

Board Members will continue to provide the resources to positively impact student achievement for all students and promote academic excellence. The BOE will continue to support district new programs of study and facilities needed to ensure both Districts can effectively and efficiently address the needs of our students, staff and school community. Board Members will participate in events throughout the school year at both CMT/CMCSSSD. CMT to provide BOE presentations on academic achievement, student performance reports, AP and SAT scores, NJSLA, NJGPA and industry recognized credentials.

Board Members will advance their knowledge on School Law and District Policies and Regulations and how best to use technology (AI) by participating in Board training throughout the calendar year- including NJSBA Workshop in October, Board Member Retreat in August.. For the 2026-2027 school year, the focus will be on School Boards Governance Training, Budget Process, Technology (AI), Communication and School Law.

The Board of Education will support all stakeholders to build a culture in our Districts characterized by positive and committed people, engaged families and community members and innovating learning experiences. The Board will advocate for CMT/CMCSSSD by participating in community based events and forums to promote special education and vocational technical education. Board members will attend events at school and in the community to support district growth. The BOE and Ad Hoc Committee will advocate for students at Middle Twp in an effort to provide access to sports and extracurriculars.

The Board of Education will continue to provide resources and support for educational and vocational programs as well as services for “At Risk” Students. Remediation as well as enrichment opportunities will be offered to students to support positive post secondary outcomes. MTSS supports such as After school tutoring, SAT prep, Saturday Seat Time to address chronic attendance issues, post secondary college and career planning as well as expanded WBL opportunities will be provided. CMCSSSD- BOE will continue to support extracurriculars at CMCSSSD such as LEAP and Unified Sports.
