Requirements:
- NJDOE School Nurse Non-Instructional Substitute Certification and or valid New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Demonstrated expertise in school health nursing practice and emergency procedures
- Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, and wellness education
- Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies
- Should have experience in pediatrics and /or with physically handicapped and emotionally disabled children
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

Qualifications:
- Possession of an NJDOE Substitute Teacher Certificate or NJDOE Teacher Certification required, a NJ DOE Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate or NJDOE Teacher of Students with Disabilities Certificate and Elementary School Teacher in Grades K-6 or Content Area Certification is preferred.
