WELCOME TO THE 2024 - 2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

 Welcome to the Cape May County Special Services School District (CMCSSSD).  As your Superintendent, it is a tremendous honor to serve our school community and welcome our new and returning students to the 2024-2025 school year!  It is also my honor to introduce you to our new Assistant Superintendent, Ms.Carleena Supp. Ms. Supp is a strong advocate for students and families and will be a true asset to our school community! 

As you know, CMCSSSD is committed to providing exceptional programming to meet the needs of our students with special needs.  Our innovative curriculum, highly trained staff, targeted individualized supports, and assistive technology, help us to provide for the very unique social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and prevocational needs of our student population. 

This year, we are very excited to report that we were awarded a grant from the New Jersey Department of Education that will help us to expand our Community-Based Instruction programming and specialized transition services for students ages 18-21 and their families. To learn more about this program, please reach out to your child’s case manager. 

I encourage all parents and guardians to stay actively involved in your child’s education at CMCSSSD and to take advantage of the various supports and services available to you.  Our faculty, related services staff, and case managers are here to help!
