WELCOME BACK!

Welcome back to the 2023-2024 school year!  My name is Dr. Thomas Baruffi and I am the Interim Assistant Superintendent at Cape May County Special Services School District (CMCSSSD).
Our goal at CMCSSSD is to always make a meaningful difference in our students’ lives by providing the best education possible.  As we approach the first day of school, it is important for you to know that our Staff and Board of Education have been very busy preparing for the upcoming school year.  As you prepare to send your children back to school, please visit our website at www.cmcspecialservices.org for our updated school calendar, school contact information, Parent/Student Handbook, Board Policies, Menus, Parent Resources, Technology Help Desk/Parent Trainings, Free and Reduced Meal Forms, and other pertinent district information.

We continue to utilize our Parent Portal, which will allow you access to your child’s school information 24/7 through the Internet.  This will include your child’s marking period grades, attendance, and demographic information.  In addition, on the Parent Portal, you will be able to update contact information as well as review and acknowledge important documents required for the upcoming school year.

I welcome your input and encourage you to reach out to me with any questions or concerns you might have regarding your child’s program.   Parent/Guardian involvement provides a critical role in our students’ success!  Thank you for your continued support.

Respectfully,

Thomas Baruffi, Ed.D., Interim Assistant Superintendent
